Frantoio Angelini was founded in 1874 in an old building in Rua della Vetreria, in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno, in an area where the cultivation of olives and the production of extra virgin olive oil represent a centuries-old tradition.
At the middle of the twentieth century the mill was renovated and modernized to meet the needs of many olive growers in the area. The company was then taken over by Alberto Angelini a man that had acquired a deep experience in the production of extra-virgin olive oil.
Gradually, the rest of the family got involved in the production and the commercial activities. In 1989, the sons of Alberto, Anna and Giovanni joined the company and the headquarters were moved to the hills, in a rural area of Ascoli Piceno, with the creation of a new and modern plant for the pressing of the olives.
Today, the company is managed by Alessandro and Francesco Viscione, nephews of Alberto Angelini: a profitable and well-established family tradition, has come to its fourth generation.
